Job Summary
The Communication Officer will support the organization’s internal and external communication activities by preparing and sharing clear, accurate, and engaging information across various communication channels. The role involves assisting with content creation, social media management, stakeholder communication, and coordination of communication activities. This position is suitable for an entry-level professional with 0–2 years of experience who is organized, creative, and has strong written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and distributing communication materials, including newsletters, announcements, reports, presentations, and social media content.
- Support the management and updating of the organization’s social media platforms and digital communication channels.- Draft, proofread, and edit correspondence, articles, press releases, and other communication materials.
- Assist in maintaining consistent organizational messaging, branding, and tone across communication platforms.
- Monitor social media platforms and other communication channels for relevant feedback, comments, and trends.
-Support the planning and coordination of communication campaigns, events, meetings, and public engagement activities.
- Assist in collecting information, photographs, and other materials for communication and promotional purposes.
- Maintain organized records of communication materials, media contacts, publications, and other relevant documents.
- Support internal communication by sharing important updates and information with staff and relevant stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing presentations and communication reports as required.
- Conduct basic research to support communication initiatives and content development.
- Liaise with team members and stakeholders to gather accurate information for communication purposes.
- Ensure all communication materials are clear, accurate, professional, and aligned with organizational objectives.
- Perform other communication-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
