Our privately owned, small animal emergency hospital is seeking a motivated and experienced Veterinary Technician or Assistant to step into a key leadership role as our Emergency Veterinary Staff Supervisor.

Requirements
 As the Emergency Veterinary Staff Supervisor, you’ll work closely with the Veterinary Emergency Clinical Manager to lead, develop, and support our technical team while ensuring efficient, high-quality patient care.
You will:
- Lead and mentor a team of veterinary assistants and techniciansÂ
- Oversee training and ongoing skill development of technical staffÂ
- Serve as asubject-matter expert in triage, patient flow, and emergency careÂ
- Help optimize workflow and support efficient diagnostics and treatmentÂ
- Collaborate with leadership to improve procedures and protocolsÂ
- Assist with scheduling, interviews, and hiring of new team membersÂ
- Promote a positive, accountable, and team-oriented cultureÂ
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency veterinary medicineÂ
- Strong technical skills and confidence in emergency/triage situationsÂ
- Excellent communication and client service skillsÂ
- A passion for training, mentoring, and developing othersÂ
- High attention to detail and a strong work ethicÂ
- Supervisory experience preferred—but we’re willing to develop the right candidate with leadership potentialÂ
- Experience with EzyVet and/or Vet Radar is a plus
