Cost Accountant

We are looking for adetail-oriented Cost Accountant to support cost control, production accounting,inventory accuracy, and financial reporting within our operations.

 Location:

Jordan, Aqaba

Key Highlights:

·  Prepare the monthlyMachine Hours Report.

·  Record and reconcilecompany transactions using the applicable accounting systems in accordance withFinance policies and procedures.

·  Assist in preparingand reviewing costing reports.

·  Analyze and controlvariances between actual and standard costs.

·  Participate in stockcounts for main and sub-warehouses and reconcile inventory differences.

·  Track and reviewchanges in product recipes and their impact on costing.

·  Audit and reviewproduction transactions to ensure accuracy and proper recording.

·  Support the monthlyclosing process and related reporting requirements.

·  Maintain accuratecosting records and support management with relevant cost information andanalysis.

Requirements

·  Bachelor’s degree inAccounting, Finance, or a related field.

·  Previous experiencein Cost Accounting, preferably within manufacturing or FMCG.

·  Good understandingof standard costing, variance analysis, inventory, and production accounting.

·  Strong analyticaland numerical skills with high attention to detail.

·  Good command ofMicrosoft Excel.

·  Experience withERP/accounting systems is an advantage.

·  Good communicationand coordination skills
