Responsibilities:

SANCORP is seeking a Budget Analyst III to provide Administrative, Analytic, Scientific, Information Technology and Subject Matter Expertise Support Services in direct support to Research, Development, Test & Evaluation Activities within Office of the Under Secretary of War for Intelligence and Security (OUSW(I&S)). The following are examples of responsibilities:Â
- Provides expertise in DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE), strategic resource management, project and program management, strategic planning, and staff support for complex developmental and operational programs. Advises organizational leadership on resource requirements, budget formulation and execution, program performance, mission priorities, and risk.
- Supports and coordinates complex projects across multiple organizations, managing scope, cost, schedule, resources, milestones, dependencies, risks, deliverables, and stakeholder requirements. Supports development of integrated project plans, performance metrics, dashboards, and executive-level reporting to ensure alignment with mission objectives.
- Supports development and evaluation of budget submissions, spend plans, resource projections, execution strategies, and programmatic alternatives. Identifies funding gaps, execution risks, and resource constraints and develops defensible recommendations and courses of action. Assembles, reviews, coordinates, and submits Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR) packages, ensuring funding documentation, supporting requirements, financial data, approvals, and required documentation are complete, accurate, and properly routed for execution.
- Supports multidisciplinary analysis and staff support for strategic planning, requirements development, policy, program integration, acquisition, and operational activities. Prepares executive briefings, decision papers, staff packages, issue papers, budget justifications, and program assessments.
- Supports evaluation of programs and processes for compliance with DoD policies, government standards, accounting principles, internal controls, and financial management requirements. Supports cross-functional teams and synchronizes technical, operational, financial, and programmatic efforts across DoD and the Intelligence Community.
