Tri-Star Transport is hiring dependable, safety-focused FedEx Delivery Drivers, Non-CDL Delivery Drivers, Step Van Drivers, and 26ft Box Truck Drivers, to operate FedEx-branded vehicles and complete local residential and commercial delivery and pickup routes

Driver Responsibilities:

Primary job duties and responsibilities include:

• Safely operate a FedEx-branded Non-CDL step van, delivery truck, or box truck on assigned local delivery and pickup routes.
• Deliver and pick up packages from residential homes, commercial businesses, offices, and other customer locations.
• Complete daily package delivery and pickup routes safely, efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.
• Work 8–10-hour delivery shifts while meeting established route completion, productivity, safety, and customer service expectations.
• Load, unload, sort, organize, scan, and secure packages inside the delivery vehicle.
• Safely lift, carry, move, load, and unload packages weighing up to 150 lbs.
• Use handheld scanners, mobile devices, GPS navigation, and electronic package tracking systems.
• Organize packages and plan delivery stops to improve route efficiency, time management, and delivery productivity.
• Provide professional, courteous, and reliable customer service at every residential and commercial delivery or pickup stop.
• Follow FedEx Ground procedures, Tri-Star Transport company policies, applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements, and all transportation safety regulations.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and promptly report vehicle damage, mechanical problems, maintenance needs, and safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, package scans, manifests, pickup documentation, and other required paperwork.
• Maintain excellent attendance, punctuality, and dependable daily work performance.
• Work independently while meeting delivery deadlines, productivity goals, safety standards, and customer service expectations.
• Follow all package handling, vehicle operation, accident prevention, workplace safety, and delivery procedures.
• Work outdoors and perform physical delivery duties in varying weather conditions.
• Represent Tri-Star Transport and the FedEx delivery operation professionally while interacting with customers and the public.

Driver Requirements and Qualifications

To qualify for the FedEx Delivery Driver / Non-CDL Commercial Driver position, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Maintain a clean and acceptable driving record.
• Have at least one year of verifiable Non-CDL commercial driving experience.
• Be able to safely lift, carry, move, load, and unload packages weighing up to 150 lbs.
• Be able to pass a DOT physical and meet applicable DOT medical and transportation requirements.
• Successfully pass a seven-year (7) background check.
• Successfully complete required pre-employment drug screening and comply with applicable random drug-testing requirements.
• Have reliable transportation to and from the delivery terminal.
• Maintain dependable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Have weekend availability and flexibility to meet assigned route schedules.
• Have no major moving violations, license suspensions, or other disqualifying driving offenses within the past three years(3).
• Be capable of working independently in a physically demanding, fast-paced delivery and logistics environment.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with customers, dispatchers, supervisors, and management.
• Follow company policies, vehicle safety procedures, package handling standards, and applicable transportation regulations.

Experience requirement: Applicants must have a minimum of one year of verifiable commercial driving experience relevant to Non-CDL delivery, local route driving, or commercial vehicle operation.
