Description
The Technology Specialist provides advanced application development and system support for RPITMS. This role is responsible for developing, enhancing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Microsoft Power Platform solutions and SharePoint-based business applications supporting critical Navy research protection operations.
The Technology Specialist works closely with technical leadership and Government stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development
- Design and develop applications utilizing Microsoft Power Platform technologies.Â
- Configure and customize SharePoint Online solutions.Â
- Develop automated workflows and business process solutions.Â
- Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI.Â
System Maintenance & Enhancement
- Troubleshoot system issues and implement corrective actions.Â
- Analyze system performance and identify improvement opportunities.Â
- Support implementation of approved system enhancements and upgrades.Â
- Maintain technical documentation.Â
Requirements Analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.Â
- Analyze existing processes and recommend automation opportunities.Â
- Assist in development of technical specifications and system designs.Â
User Support
- Assist with issue resolution and help desk support.Â
- Support deployment activities and user acceptance testing.Â
- Participate in training and knowledge transfer activities.
Requirements
- Four (4) years of experience developing and supporting management information systems.Â
- Experience developing, testing, and troubleshooting Microsoft Power Platform applications.Â
- Experience with SharePoint Online.Â
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree.Â
- Microsoft Power Platform certification.Â
- Experience supporting Navy or DoD systems.Â
- Experience with federal compliance and governance environments.
