Face-to-Face Fundraiser / Canvasser – Build a New Team in Northern Virginia

$20/hr guaranteed + bonuses | Full-time preferred | Part-time available

We're building a brand-new team in Northern Virginia and looking for outgoing, motivated people who like being around others, want to make an impact, and are ready to build skills they can take with them wherever they go.

As a Face-to-Face Fundraiser / Canvasser, you'll be out in the community representing nonprofit organizations and starting real conversations with people about causes like child poverty, disaster relief, education, and supporting vulnerable communities.

If you're social, energetic, and looking for work that's active, meaningful, and lets you meet people, you might be a great fit.

Fair warning: this is definitely not a desk job. You’ll spend most of your shift outside, walking, standing, and talking to people face-to-face – rain or shine. If you'd rather be moving around and meeting people than staring at a computer all day, you'll probably like it here.

Schedule

We get it – you have a life outside of work. We want you to have a consistent schedule without taking over your entire life.

We're currently hiring for Tuesday–Saturday shifts, generally running between 12:30 PM and 8:00 PM.

• Full-time is preferred, especially if you're interested in growing into a leadership role

• Part-time is totally welcome

• Part-time team members need to commit to at least 3 full 7.5-hour shifts per week

Get paid for your time – not just your results.

• $20/hour guaranteed base pay – you're NOT working on commission

Eligibility

Before you apply, here's what you need to know:

• You must be 18+

• You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship

• You must live in Virginia and plan to stay in Virginia throughout your employment

• You need to be able to consistently work at least 3 full shifts per week

• You should be comfortable being outdoors, on your feet, and walking for most of your shift

• You need to be able to communicate confidently in English, since you'll be having lots of conversations with people throughout the day

No fundraising experience? No problem. We'll train you on fundraising, our nonprofit partners, and everything you need to get started. What we're really looking for is someone who brings energy, confidence, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
