Qualifications:
- Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure in one of the following endorsement areas: Pharmacy Tech; Technology EducationÂ
- Earned a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university and hold a current license or certification as a professional practitioner in the area in which one is to be teaching and completed two years of successful, full-time or the equivalent of occupational experience within the past five years in an area related to the teaching specialty sought.
- This candidate needs to be able to be dual enrolled medical terminology with NOVA
Experience:Â
- Teaching experience in the above mentioned area
- Knowledge of best instructional practices
- Ability to integrate technology
- Experience in educational and instructional leadership
Responsibilities:
- Implements instructional programs that meet the needs, interests and abilities of students using appropriate instructional materials
- Maintains safe and orderly environment
- Communicates with parents/guardians
- Maintains complete and accurate student records
- Collaborates with school administrators, other teachers, instructional assistants, parents, and community members
- Monitors and assesses student achievement
- Attends ongoing professional learning and meetings
Salary:
- Salary will be based on the FY26-27 salary schedule.
