Master automotive technicians are expected to be mastersof their trade, with the ability to quickly and efficiently identify problemsand perform routine maintenance on a daily basis.

JobResponsibilities

• Determineand discuss vehicle issues, current work and future needs with customers andservice advisors.
  
• Diagnose,maintain and repair automotive systems.
  
• Performquality inspections, including test drives, of vehicles prior to returning themto customers
  
• Communicatedirectly with service advisors to keep customers informed of any additionalservice needs and provide an estimate for any new repairs.
  
• Executerepairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
  

Requirements

• Atour dealership, master technicians are determined and persistent problemsolvers who are expected to maintain a comprehensive understanding of thelatest automotive technologies.
  

Educationand/or Experience

• Highschool diploma or GED (general equivalency diploma); or 1 to 3 months relatedexperience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education andexperience.
  

Certificates,Licenses, Registrations
