PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITY:Ā Ā 

The Triple PĀ Program ManagerĀ will oversee the implementation andĀ contract executionĀ ofĀ Triple P and supporting activities in Cherokee, Graham, Clay, Macon, Swain, Jackson, Haywood, Transylvania, Henderson, Polk, Rutherford, Buncombe, Madison, Yancey, Mitchel, McDowell,Ā andĀ Burke Counties.Ā Ā

The overall purpose of theĀ Positive Parenting Program (Triple P)Ā is toĀ provideĀ access to evidence-based parenting support and resources to caregivers throughĀ successfulĀ program adoptionĀ andĀ deliveryĀ of Triple PĀ withinĀ mental healthĀ agencies, non-profit family services, courts systems, and private and public health systems.Ā Ā 

Ā 

The Triple PĀ Program ManagerĀ willĀ work withĀ and buildĀ communityĀ systemsĀ toĀ strengthen the Triple P initiative,Ā coverage,Ā and support activities, to serveĀ families of children 0-17Ā as well as parents of children with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities.Ā Ā The Triple PĀ Program ManagerĀ willĀ monitorĀ regionalĀ outcomes related to child maltreatment, child injury, and parent stress.Ā Ā 

Ā 

The TripleĀ P Program Manager willĀ plan andĀ manageĀ the development, implementation,Ā trainingĀ and execution of sub-programs, special projects, and other initiatives designed to achieve the overall mission, goals, andĀ objectivesĀ of the program.Ā Ā 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:Ā 

Ā SupervisionĀ 

  • Lead inter-professional team of 3 to continuously improve systems and quality of service in regionĀ 

  • Manage schedulesĀ 

  • Meet regularly with staff for supervisory coaching and check-insĀ 

  • Provide feedback for employee improvementsĀ 

  • Review employee performanceĀ 

  • Develop Strategic Implementation plan for Triple PĀ 

  • Collaborate with Rural Health Initiative Team to expand rural relationshipsĀ 

  • Partner with local,Ā regionalĀ and state agencies to ensure workforce development needs are metĀ

ProgramĀ ManagementĀ 

  • Serve asĀ day to dayĀ contact for state and Triple P AmericaĀ 

  • Lead the implementation of policies,Ā practicesĀ and procedures across agenciesĀ inĀ Cherokee, Graham, Clay, Macon, Swain, Jackson, Haywood, Transylvania, Henderson, Polk, Rutherford, Buncombe, Madison, Yancey, Mitchel, McDowell, BurkeĀ CountiesĀ 

  • Manage program budget and expenditure processes, ensuring to follow financial proceduresĀ 

  • EnsureĀ MOA’sĀ are up to date, signed and followed by agenciesĀ 

  • Plan and coordinateĀ logisticsĀ forĀ all trainings,Ā local quarterlyĀ leadershipĀ and coalitionĀ meetingsĀ 

  • Plan,Ā implementĀ andĀ monitorĀ the progress of departmental and client projects.Ā 

  • Create detailed work plans thatĀ identifyĀ the sequence of activities needed to successfully complete projectsĀ 

  • Develop a timelineĀ with agenciesĀ forĀ training andĀ project completion and ensure assignment of tasks and communication of deadlinesĀ 

  • Ensure the development of clear projectĀ objectivesĀ and measurement to guide evaluation of success and ongoing learningĀ Ā 

  • Maintain records of the project activities and lessons learnedĀ 

  • Responsible for the resolution of issues pertinent to daily Triple P activitiesĀ 

  • SupportĀ civilĀ communication among team members as well as acrossĀ community collaborators and agenciesĀ Ā 

  • Establish a communication schedule andĀ maintainĀ reporting tools to update key stakeholdersĀ on the progress of the projectĀ 

  • LeadsĀ interviews and make hiring recommendations for Triple PĀ PositionsĀ 

  • Establish pertinent community partners andĀ maintainĀ appropriate contactĀ needed for program successĀ Ā 

  • Coordinate, plan, and lead Triple PĀ leadership/StakeholderĀ meetingsĀ 

  • Clarify, re-brand, and re-build trust around positive parenting within the communityĀ Ā 

  • Develop more concrete social networks andĀ utilizeĀ them to strengthen partnershipsĀ as skill, knowledge, and capacity allows,Ā andĀ participateĀ in program evaluation and publication of departmental and client projectsĀ Ā 

  • Implement the Stay Positive media-based parent campaign, develop relationships with local media outlets, and serve as spokesperson in close collaboration with program directorĀ 

  • Participate in the North Carolina Triple P State Learning Collaborative to share best practicesĀ 

  • Lead sustainability efforts, including the development of a Sustainability ManualĀ 

  • AssistĀ with referrals by connecting caregivers to local Triple P services (including Triple P Online)Ā 

Ā 

Outreach, Readiness Assessment andĀ TrainingĀ SupportĀ Ā 

  • Review potential practitioner applications, interview,Ā selectĀ and train chosen practitioner for the Triple P ProgramĀ 

  • Responsible for oversight of on andĀ off siteĀ events and project activitiesĀ 

  • Leads and supports onboarding and training of newĀ Triple P PractitionersĀ Ā 

  • Collaborate withĀ Frank Porter Graham Institute andĀ Triple P America to ensure best practices of ImplementationĀ 

  • Maintain communication with other state Triple P Specialists and ManagersĀ 

  • Provide guidance to agencies in Triple P interventionĀ selectionĀ based on best fit for your organization/departmentĀ 

  • Provide Triple P administration supportĀ Ā 

  • Host Triple P Trainings and support providers through the training and accreditation processĀ 

  • Help agencies and Triple P Providers to ensure proper onboarding implementation of Triple P within their agency/departmentĀ 

  • Maintain communication withĀ participating agenciesĀ at least monthly through telephone calls, email, mailings, and site visitsĀ regardingĀ Triple P activities and positive parenting-related opportunities available to your agency and other organizationsĀ Ā 

  • Collaborate with Project ManagersĀ to ensure coaching and peer support within the agency for Triple P Providers after trainingĀ 

  • Use feedback data from Triple P Trainers to hone new trainees Triple P skillsĀ Ā 

  • Coordinate access to provider website and on-line access to tools and evaluation reporting systemĀ 

  • Provide support to Agencies and Providers to turn in quarterly dataĀ

Resource DevelopmentĀ 

  • Plan, develop, and implement strategies forĀ identifyingĀ and generating funding and/or resource opportunities for program activities, to include development of grant and other fundraising proposalsĀ 

  • ForecastĀ program needsĀ related to resource development,Ā budget projection, andĀ team development.Ā 

  • Work with state stake holders to ensure ongoing funding of projectĀ

DataĀ SupportĀ 

  • Works with NC Department of Public Health and MAHECĀ Project and Data ManagerĀ to collect, analyze andĀ disseminateĀ program activity dataĀ 

  • Interacts withĀ dataĀ evaluation and quality improvement team to support data collection and disseminationĀ to grow awareness of outcomes within agencies and our communitiesĀ

Work hours will need to be flexibleĀ in order toĀ respond to special work assignments, or evening activities, as requested by the team leader.Ā 

COMPENSATION:

  • $70,000 annually (exempt) + MAHEC Full-Time Total Rewards Package
