Job Details: Job Location: 707 - Asheville The Radical Hotel - Asheville, NC, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Any, JOB SUMMARYTo supervise, direct, assist, and assure the completion of housekeeping tasks assigned to Room Attendants, Lobby Attendants and Housepersons in guest rooms, corridors and public spaces to maintain Driftwood’s high standards of cleanliness.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS This description is a summary of primary responsibilities and qualifications.  The job description is not intended to include all duties or qualifications that may be required now or in the future.  The Hotel operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting times, and hours worked in a week. Lead, motivate, and support our housekeeping team to consistently deliver exceptional cleanliness and presentation. Inspect guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to ensure our standards are met or exceeded. Check all vacant/ready/stay over rooms daily. Check out of order rooms daily. Identify showrooms for Sales Department. Turn in all lost and found items and all guest room keys. Coordinate daily room assignments, cleaning priorities, and team productivity. Train, coach, and develop housekeeping associates in collaboration with the Executive Housekeeper, creating a positive and accountable work environment. Work closely with Front Office and Maintenance to ensure rooms are guest-ready and issues are resolved quickly. Monitor housekeeping supplies, linens, and equipment while helping control costs and minimize waste. Ensure compliance with cleanliness, sanitation, and workplace safety standards. Jump in and support the team wherever needed. Great leaders aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves!  Qualifications: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or hospitality environment; supervisory experience strongly preferred. A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding results. Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. A positive, approachable leadership style that motivates and develops others. The ability to multitask, solve problems, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as business needs require. A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences. Ability to read and write basic English to complete forms such as a room status report. Ability to provide clear direction, instruction, and guidance to subordinates.\Ability to provide information and answer hotel guest and colleague questions. Time management skills.
