A PAI Coordinator who excels in this role:
Â
Coordinate PPD data collection with interdisciplinary teamÂ
Ensure completion of supportive documentation for Quality Indicators (QIs) in medical recordÂ
Completes admission and discharge IRF-PAI within CMS designated time framesÂ
Collect appropriate information from medical record and summarize on IRF-PAIÂ
Ensure completion of admission PAI within four days of admissionÂ
Ensure completion of discharge PAI within five days of dischargeÂ
Inputs data into CMS accepted program within designated time frameÂ
Updates IRF-PAI log and maintains its accuracyÂ
Check patient location roster and verify accuracy of IRF-PAI logÂ
Ensure completion of all columns of IRF-PAI log with each disciplineÂ
Assist in team education regarding Quality Indicators (QIs) and documentationÂ
Complete Quality Indicators (QIs) competencyÂ
Assist in performing Quality Indicators (QIs) competencies with other team membersÂ
Other duties as assignedÂ

Applicants should have a clinical degree and current license to practice as an OT, PT, RN, SLP, or MSW. Additional requirements include:
