Overview

Looking to be part of the Piedmont Athens Team, Home of the Georgia Bulldogs! We are seeking an innovative Clinical Operations Manager to partner with the Director of Respiratory Care to lead a team of skilled respiratory therapists. This role is ideal for a respiratory leader who enjoys collaborating with physicians, developing staff, leading quality initiatives, and helping build the future of respiratory services.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

• Partner with the respiratory leadership team to drive operational and clinical growth

• Lead departmental quality improvement projects

• Oversee CLIA and CAP compliance for the blood gas laboratory, ensuring regulatory readiness

• Coach, mentor, and develop respiratory therapists while fostering a culture of accountability

• Represent respiratory care on hospital committees and interdisciplinary workgroups

• Assist with departmental budgeting, productivity, and new equipment evaluation

• Review and create hospital policies in accordance with accreditation requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

•  Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy; NBRC certification; BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certified; and current Georgia licensure as a Respiratory Care Professional.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

• Current state respiratory care license

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred

• Leadership experience in an acute care hospital

• Experience with CLIA and CAP accreditation

• NICU or critical care leadership experience preferred
