Job Details: Job Location: Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital - Athens, GA, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: None, Salary Range: $17.00Hourly, Travel Percentage: None, Job Category: Commercial Custodian - FT, EVS Attendant - 2ND SHIFTSHIFT START TIMES: 2PM-10:30PM, 3PM-11:30PMWe are currently hiring for second shift only. First- and third-shift positions are not available. Candidates must be able to consistently work the posted schedule, including required weekends.SUMMARY:  Cleans and sanitizes rooms and furnishings in assigned work areas, following established policies and procedures in order to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hospital. Attention to detail and a positive attitude are a must. The right person is punctual, thorough, but fast, and eager to learn.  Experience cleaning medical facilities is a plus.GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Adheres to the company’s safety policies and operational procedures. Adheres to the company’s service standards. Cleans In-Patient/Out-Patient areas. Vacuums. Cleans rooms following patient discharges. Maintains equipment Adheres to chemical usage procedures. Maintains adequate supplies. Cleans staff and public restrooms. Practices universal precaution. Maintains clean storage and supply closets. Qualifications: REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.  Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.  Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.  Knowledge of cleaning equipment and processes preferred. Knowledge of cleaning equipment and processes preferred. Ability to make minor decisions concerning prioritizing work assignments. Aware of potential impact to facility and patients when performing cleaning functions. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Experience in medical facility cleaning is a plus.
