Description

Athens Orthopedic Clinic is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Radiology Tech on a PRN basis for our Urgent Care location. Must have ARRT certification. The hours for the position will typically Saturday/Sunday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm; some weekday evenings 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm but may require varying hours for patient care.


Position Summary: The Radiology Tech is responsible for conducting appropriate radiographs as required by physician order. Candidate should be well versed in use of appropriate equipment to include C-arm and digital x-ray. Planned care is delivered in a safe, economical and efficient manner following AOC’s policies and procedures, values and mission statement. The Radiology Tech will be expected to assist in other areas of the office as deemed necessary to provide patient care. Is responsible for equipment and supplies and for promoting teamwork among patients, families, and physicians.


Education/Qualifications: Candidates to be considered for this position will be a graduate of an approved Radiology Technology program. Previous experience working in an orthopedic care environment preferred.
