Position Summary:
Responsible for providing technical support, installation, operation, maintenance, andtroubleshooting of audio-visual systems and equipment. This position supports meetings, conferences, presentations, training sessions, special events, and video-conferencing environments. The technician independently handles routine and moderately complex technical issues and works closely with end users, IT teams, facilities, vendors, and event personnel to ensure reliable and high-quality AV services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, test, operate, and maintain audio-visual equipment and systems.
- Set up and support projectors, LED/LCD displays, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, cameras, video-conferencing systems, control systems, and related AV equipment.
- Provide on-site technical support for meetings, conferences, presentations, training sessions, and special events.
- Troubleshoot and resolve audio, video, connectivity, signal, cabling, and equipment-related issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance, equipment testing, system checks, and basic repairs.
- Configure and operate video-conferencing and collaboration technologies.
- Support integration of AV systems with computers, networks, presentation systems, and other IT infrastructure.
- Diagnose signal-flow and connectivity problems and identify appropriate corrective actions.
- Assist with AV system installations, upgrades, moves, and equipment replacements.
- Maintain accurate equipment inventories, service records, configuration documentation, and operating procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for equipment repairs, installations, and technical support when required.
- Provide users with basic training and guidance on AV equipment and systems.
- Ensure AV equipment is properly stored, secured, maintained, and available when needed.
- Follow established safety procedures and organizational standards during installation, operation, and maintenance activities.
- Stay current with emerging AV technologies, standards, and industry best practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in audio/video production.
- Strong understanding of audio and video equipment.Ā
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when dealing with high-level executives.Ā
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Dante Level III (preferred but not required)
- CTS (preferred but not required)

Working Conditions:
Works in an office environment as well as regular site visits to buildings and construction sites throughout Atlanta. May require frequent bending, stooping, reaching and prolonged sitting and/or standing. Frequent local travel which necessitates a valid State of Georgia driverās license and be fully insurable for the purpose of obtaining clearance on company āAuthorized Drivers List.ā Ā
