Job Description
About the Role:
The GBS Analyst performs accounting and financial reporting activities within the Regional Shared Services Center. This role is responsible for accounting for expenses across North America (NA), Europe, and APAC business lines, preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, and supporting compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
Responsibilities for the Role:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure financial reporting is completed accurately and within established deadlines.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Prepare and complete general ledger account reconciliations with a focus on liability and receivable accounts, ensuring the validity of balances and timely resolution of outstanding items.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Perform account analyses and variance analyses; identify variances, determine root causes, and document findings and corrective actions as appropriate.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities and reporting.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Prepare ad hoc analyses, reports, and special projects as assigned.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Identify and assist in implementing process improvements, automation, and standardization.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Support internal and external audit requests
Requirements of the Role:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Bachelor鈥檚 degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 1 to 3 years of accounting and/or finance experience required.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting, with the ability to apply those principles in a corporate accounting environment.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Candidacy for Certified Public Accountant is preferred
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle Financials, is preferred.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience supporting month-end close, account reconciliations, or financial reporting is preferred.
