Responsibilities

The Strategic Sourcing Analyst (Analyst) plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of the Sourcing and Contracting team within Supply Chain. The goal is to provide strategic support to the Commodity Managers via a variety of essential activities, therefore allowing the Commodity Managers to focus on level projects with significantly more risk. Together the focus on these activities will support the department's stewardship goals.Responsibilities of an Analyst are diverse including functions ranging from drafting, reviewing or negotiating amendments, addendums and low risk contracts, support of complex Request for Proposals or key STARS initiatives, facilitate meetings, support and maintain information necessary for DNV audits. Ensures accuracy of contract information and manage all relative documentation as required by Piedmont Healthcare standards and the requirements of applicable information systems, to include Piedmont Healthcare's legal, contract and ERP systems specific to Piedmont Healthcare's operations. Maintains tracking tools for contracting, sourcing and special projects. Maintains internal and customer communication tools, to include information needed from and by Supply Chain leadership for effective customer engagement.The Analyst will work independently; however, will also work closely with Clinical Resource Managers, Strategic Sourcing and STARS teams to achieve the overall goals of Supply Chain and Piedmont Healthcare.

Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain, or a related field Required or
  • In Lieu of degree six (6) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement Required
Work Experience
  • 3 years of supply chain experience working with and managing contracts, and/or vendor relationships Required or
  • In lieu of degree nine (9) years of supply chain experience working with and managing contracts, and/or vendor relationships Required
