Delivery Driver - Atlanta, GA

Savannah Distributing Company, a family owned and operated business and leader in the beverage distribution industry, is now hiring Delivery Drivers (Non-CDL). Our company offers competitive wages, incentives and supplemental pay plans, excellent benefits and potential growth opportunities.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

A Delivery Driver distributes products promptly to our customers. The Driver will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner aiming at increasing profitability and customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Safely delivers product to each designated stop on assigned route
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
• Pick up returns and documents for credit
• Collects payments from customers
• Complete logs and reports
• Follows company safety standards
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to drive up to a 20" box truck
• Valid Georgia driver’s license with clean driving record
• Successfully pass pre-employment, quarterly and random drug screens
• Abide by all state and federal laws on the road
• Basic mathematical skills
• Dependable with excellent time management skills
• Good communication skills to create a positive experience with our customers
• Have reliable transportation to work each day

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Must be able to work in a team-oriented, professional and fast-paced environment in a variety of weather conditions. Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 60 pounds. Must be able to work overtime as needed.  NO WEEKENDS.
