Job Overview:  

Atlanta Diabetes Associates is seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our endocrinology team in a hospital environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering specialized patient care in the field of endocrinology, collaborating with our endocrinologists, and contributing to the overall success of our clinic. Responsibilities: 

- Conduct thorough endocrinology-focused patient assessments and provide diagnoses based on clinical findings.

- Develop and implement patient-centered care plans for individuals with endocrine disorders.

- Order and interpret specialized endocrinology diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and initiate referrals as needed.

- Collaborate closely with physicians, APPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records with a focus on endocrine health data within our EMR system.

- Work closely with hospital staff to coordinate patient care, ensuring a seamless endocrine care experience. 


Work Schedule:  

Full-time | 40 hour work week 

Requirements

 Qualifications: 

- Current state license and certification as an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA). 

- In-depth knowledge of endocrine disorders and related diagnostic and treatment modalities.

- Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented healthcare environment.

- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education in endocrinology.

- Experience working as an APP in an endocrinology setting is a plus.
