Position Summary

The HR Manager serves as a strategic business partner to leadership and employees, supporting a portfolio of Class B & C multifamily residential communities. This role is responsible for leading human resources initiatives across talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, compensation, benefits, and workforce planning. The HR Manager collaborates closely with regional and property operations leaders to drive employee engagement, strengthen organizational effectiveness, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽Oversee end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless employee experience, timely completion of required documentation, system access provisioning and deactivation, benefits administration, exit interviews, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to operational leaders on employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and workforce planning.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, practices, and employment legislation.
  • Partner with property and regional leaders to address employee concerns and resolve workplace issues.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Oversee recruitment strategies for property management, maintenance, leasing, and corporate positions, and serve as the direct supervisor to the Recruiter.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and build talent pipelines.

  • Support onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions.
  • Coach managers on performance improvement, corrective action, and employee development.
  • Support succession planning and talent management initiatives.
  • Partner with leadership on compensation reviews, salary recommendations, and market analyses.
  • Administer employee benefit programs and support employee inquiries.
  • Ensure compensation practices align with company policies and business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and documentation.
  • Support audits and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Analyze turnover and employee feedback data to identify trends and recommend solutions.
Working Environment
  • Supports multiple multifamily residential communities within a designated portfolio.
  • Regular travel to properties and regional offices as needed.
  • Fast-paced, service-oriented environment requiring strong prioritization and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 5+ year experience supporting Class B & C multifamily communities is required.

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, and HR best practices.

  • ADP experience is a must.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and coaching skills.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, CHRP, or equivalent) preferred.
