Northside Hospital is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist to develop and administer therapy programs for a diverse patient population, including neonates to geriatrics.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy and be licensed by the Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy.
The position requires strong communication skills for patient and family education, as well as a commitment to quality customer service.
Preferred qualifications include two years of experience as a Licensed Occupational Therapist and certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
The work hours are from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, and the position includes weekend requirements, with a competitive salary offered.

Responsibilities

Develops and administers occupational therapy programs and treatments for inpatients and outpatients of age groups defined by clinical competency which may include neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. The duties of this position require patient and family education and the exercise of courtesy and patience in speaking with and assisting patients, families, medical personnel and others in order to provide quality customer service.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.

Licensed as an Occupational Therapist by the Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy.

Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

Two (2) years of experience as a Licensed Occupational Therapist.

Work Hours (EX:7AM-7PM):

8:30am-5PM
