Software Engineer III (f/t)

Job Description:

Building highly scalable microservice API's using the On Prem and On Cloud; Utilizing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) to elastically scale based on traffic patterns; Technical mentorship of software engineers; Monitoring the latest industry trends to help evaluate and implement new Patterns technology; Performing peer code reviews and making suggestions to improve overall code base; Maintaining over 90% test coverage of codebase; Reading legacy code to learn and maintain existing systems; Championing devOps culture; Verifying that the developed software meets the requirements and creating documentation; and Utilizing AI tools (such as Microsoft CoPilot) to enhance overall productivity

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent* in Computer Science or a closely related technical field and four (4) years of experience in a systems analysis or development occupation. Experience must include:

  • 4 years of experience in software engineering  
  • 4 years backend development with Microsoft Technologies Stack experience
  • 4 years integrating with REST APIs
  • Demonstrated knowledge** in the following Languages/Technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Demonstrated knowledge with Public Clouds (GCP and Azure) 
  • Demonstrated knowledge with Dev Ops tools: CICD & Dev Ops: Github, Github Actions, JIRA, Test Automation 
  • General database knowledge (specifically in SQL server)
  • Knowledge** of end-to-end systems development life cycles

*Any combination of education that has been evaluated by a professional credentials evaluation service to be the equivalent of an U.S. degree will be accepted. References required.

**Knowledge can be demonstrated through coursework, training, or experience.
