Bring your love of teaching and childcare together in a rewarding role where curiosity, creativity, and discovery are part of every day! A family in Sandy Springs, GA is seeking an experienced, nurturing, and education-minded nanny to care for two young children, ages 3 and 1, while helping build a supportive home learning environment.

This role combines attentive childcare with meaningful opportunities to support early learning and development. The nanny will manage daily care and routines while incorporating age-appropriate activities, imaginative play, reading, and hands-on exploration. Initially, learning will be play-based and woven naturally into the day. As the oldest child approaches Pre-K, the role will grow to include more structured homeschool instruction. The nanny will partner with the parents to evaluate and select a curriculum purchased by the family, plan and lead lessons, track progress, and adapt activities to the children’s evolving needs and interests.

The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, organized, and an excellent communicator who enjoys working closely with parents. Previous nanny experience with young children and teaching experience are required, preferably in early childhood, elementary education, or a homeschool setting. Candidates should feel confident creating engaging learning activities and balancing educational goals with the warmth, flexibility, and hands-on care young children need.

A degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field is preferred, along with teaching certification or familiarity with homeschool curricula. Knowledge of developmental milestones and positive discipline approaches is highly valued. Additional enrichment skills, such as music, sports, or a second language, are welcome.

Candidates must be non-smokers, legally authorized to work in the United States, and have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record. Current CPR and Pediatric First Aid certification, or a willingness to obtain both, is required. Applicants must also be able to pass a background check and drug testing and provide verifiable references. A genuine love of animals is essential, as there is a small dog in the home.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a nanny who wants to build a lasting relationship with a family and help young children develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning!
