Under the Supervision of the lead technologist, the technologist will follow established policies, perform established CT protocols, venipuncture, tele-radiography, complete routine clerical tasks and assist patients. The technologist will apply prescribed ionizing radiation in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patientās illness or injury.Education/Training:Ā
Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.Ā Associateās degree in Radiologic Technology.Ā

Licenses/Certification:Ā
ā¢ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and Computerized TomographyĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Massachusetts DPH Radiation Control License in Radiologic Technology and Computerized TomographyĀ
ā¢Ā Ā Ā Venipuncture certificationĀ which is providedĀ fromĀ the institution during the 12-week probationary period.Ā
RequiredĀ Qualifications and Skills:Ā Ā
MinimumĀ ofĀ 1-2Ā years of experience inĀ CT, preferably in a hospital environmentĀ
Excellent communication, customerĀ serviceĀ and organizational skillsĀ
Ability to work productively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing as neededĀ
High levelĀ of technical and informatics knowledge and skillĀ
Must perform venipuncture for purposes of contrast administration under the direction of the radiologist. Must follow all hospital and departmental contrast administration policies and procedures.Ā

Salary Range Details
The pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidateās actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidateās work history, experience, skill set, and education. This is not inclusive of the value Sturdy Healthās benefits package (if applicable), which includes among other benefits, healthcare/dental/vision and retirement. For annual salaries this is based on full-time employment.
