Achieve the functional and dysfunctional design of innovative batteries to ensure the desired performance of the battery pack with a minimum safety with respect to an agreed planningĀ with a cross functional synthesis with several skilled people.Ā

  • Lead relationships with differentĀ externalĀ partners (academics, startups, cell manufacturers, material providers).Ā

  • Lead relationships andĀ humanĀ resourcesĀ coordination with different advanced and core teams with internal facilities.Ā

  • Lead and extendĀ partnershipsĀ and internal facilities upgradeĀ plan.Ā

  • BuildĀ andĀ disseminateĀ the mid and long terms roadmaps for cell electrochemistryĀ technologies and designs.Ā

  •  To master andĀ disseminateĀ the process of functional and dysfunctional design of batteries by seeking unprecedented performance in terms of horsepower and energyĀ

  • To lead a project including several teams and skills to pass TRL and milestones according to the project planning.Ā

  • To capitalize andĀ disseminateĀ methods and models implemented within theĀ PDTĀ communitiesĀ 

  

  • To summarize the balance sheets at the project level of performance and constraints of the addressed battery packsĀ 

  

  • To evaluate the thermo-electric performance of a battery pack (horsepower, energy addressable under thermal environment)Ā

  • To evaluate battery packĀ costĀ

  • To evaluate battery pack performance in stationary environmentĀ

  • Use battery pack system engineering to build functional and dysfunctional analyzesĀ 

  

  • Facilitate a working teamĀ for design synthesisĀ

  • Cross functional synthesis with several skilled people

  • ManageĀ partnersĀ relationships.Ā

  • GatherĀ and synthesizeĀ information from several sources.Ā

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Ā 

  • Bachelor's degree Materials EngineeringĀ or ElectrochemistryĀ EngineeringĀ 
  • MinimumĀ 8Ā yearsĀ working experience in the battery energy storage area.Ā 
  • Knowledge in battery pack design, electrochemistry, thermal management, battery cell, and electrical energy storage.Ā 
  • Excellent interpersonalĀ skillĀ to work inĀ crossĀ functional and multi-cultural team environment.Ā

Preferred Qualifications:Ā 

Ā 

  • Master's in Materials EngineeringĀ or ElectrochemistryĀ 
  • Proven experience in electrochemistryĀ Ā 
  • Experience inĀ current and/or advancedĀ cell technologies.Ā 
  • ExperienceĀ to provideĀ technical guidance and direction during supplier technical reviews.Ā 
  • Proven experience inĀ team leading or project management.Ā
