The Application Engineering Intern supports engineering teams in developing, testing, and validating product applications for customers. The role provides hands‑on exposure to design analysis, documentation, prototypes, and technical problem‑solving within an engineering environment.

Responsibilities

Support application engineers in evaluating customer requirements and product specifications.
Assist with design reviews, technical documentation, and engineering calculations.
Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation activities.
Prepare technical presentations, reports, and CAD drawings as needed.
Conduct data analysis and summarize engineering findings for team use.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, testing, manufacturing, quality).
Support continuous improvement and engineering change activities.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
Basic understanding of engineering principles, drawings, and materials.
Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, AutoCAD) is a plus.
Strong analytical, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
