Skilled Painter

PK Industrial is currently seeking skilled painters able to accurately hit their mil spec with airless and conventional sprayers in a variety of coatings for work in our Augusta, Kansas facility. This Position is for second shift work. 

Monday - Friday, 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm, 40 hours per week with possible overtime as needed.

What you will do…

Some of the Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Performs all types of coating application with an airless or conventional and be able to hit the mils required by the paint spec.
• Mixes, and blends various paints, enamels, epoxies, urethanes, and special protective coatings for specified consistency, and drying properties.
• Have the knowledge required to read and understand coatings product data sheets.

Internal Duties

• Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
• Ability to work well with others & independently.
• Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Extended hours and shift work may be required from time to time.
• Must be able to physically handle work. bending, lifting, etc.
