JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for ensuring the Quality of stored product as well as any returns. This role is crucial to help maintain accurate inventory and support other areas of the business by identifying damaged or defective products as well as operating various types of warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to ensuring quality & inventory accuracy. Responsible for a sound knowledge of logistics and supply chain, materials management and distribution/transportation processes and policies to meet the business requirements.

 

2nd shift (Monday-Friday) W/Sat for potential overtime (1:15pm to 9:45pm)

Hour rate: $22.21 + $1.25 shift differential

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure any returned product is in good condition and ready for shipping before returning to stock.
  • Perform audits as needed for incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.
  • Identify damaged or defective products and report them to management.
  • Support with repackaging of product following facility’s guidelines.Ensure that inventory is stored securely and in accordance with safety guidelines.
  • Identify & report defects timely to help minimize Bin denials.
  • Safe operation of forklifts, including clamp lifts, reach trucks, and order pickers as needed.
  • Input data into the company's computerized system accurately.
  • Support other departments as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Ability to read/write and interpret documents.
  • Warehouse exp.
  • Quality background.
  • Invenory.
  • Excel.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Requires frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.
  • Requires lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling of various items of varying weight.
  • Requires work from heights of up to 20 feet from floor.
  • Requires work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.
