Department: Operating Room

Schedule: Full-time | Day shift | Monday-Friday | on call evenings nights weekends and holiday rotation

How you'll make an impact in this role

• Sets up the operating room by arranging sterile drapes, solutions, and both sterile and non-sterile equipment to ensure full procedural readiness.
• Assists surgical teams with preparing, safely transporting, positioning, and draping patients prior to procedures.
• Anticipates surgical needs and passes requested instruments, sponges, and supplies to the surgeon seamlessly during operations.
• Maintains a clean, organized field while tracking all surgical instruments, sponges, and sharps to ensure accurate counts throughout the procedure.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional requirements you'll need

• 3+ years CST experience 
• 3+ years experience in spine surgery procedures required for this role
