Job Details: Job Location: 5656 BEE CAVES RD - AUSTIN, TX, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: High School, Salary Range: $27.00 - $32.00Hourly, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Other,  The Full-Time Dietary Manager is responsible for the overall operation and management of the hospital's Nutritional Services Department. This position ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, and nutritionally appropriate meals to patients, visitors, physicians, and staff while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local food safety regulations. The Dietary Manager oversees food service personnel, menu planning, inventory management, budgeting, and quality assurance activities to support excellent patient outcomes and customer satisfaction. May step in as cook when applicable. This role collaborates with clinical staff and dietitians to meet specialized dietary needs and promotes a culture of service excellence, safety, and operational efficiency throughout the department. This position may require weekend and holiday work if needed.Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Food Service Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred. Previous supervisory or management experience in healthcare food service required. Current Food Handler Certification required; ServSafe Manager or Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and budgeting skills. Knowledge of hospital dietary regulations, food safety standards, and therapeutic diets. Bi-Lingual a plus.
