General Dentist: Taylor, Texas (Suburban Austin), 2–3 Days Growing to Full-Time
Taylor, TX (about 35 minutes northeast of Austin) | Part-Time to Start | W-2 | 30% of Collections, No Lab or Supply Fees Deducted
Enter the Austin-area market without committing to five days on day one. An established PPO/fee-for-service practice that has served Taylor for more than 40 years wants a clinically driven, relationship-oriented general dentist for 2–3 days a week, growing to full-time within about 12 months. The practice recently joined a dental group, the founding dentist stays on full-time for continuity, and the community around it is booming.
The work
- High-quality everyday dentistry for an established patient base
- Room to grow restorative, crown and bridge, oral surgery and implant dentistry
- Comprehensive treatment planning and other procedures based on your experience and interests
- Clinical autonomy, with the resources of a larger group
The practice
- 8 operatories with CBCT on site
- 100% PPO/fee-for-service, no Medicaid
- Founding dentist remains full-time
- 2 dental assistants and 2 front office team members, including an experienced office lead
- A full-time temporary hygienist now, with a permanent full-time hygienist being recruited
- Administrative and operational support from an established group, with renovations and technology investments being evaluated as the practice grows
Schedule
2–3 days per week to start, expanding with patient demand and hygiene capacity, with full-time expected within about a year. It's a good fit if you want to supplement an existing schedule or ease into the Austin market.
What you need
- DDS or DMD
- A Texas dental license, or the ability to obtain one
- Confidence in general dentistry and interest in becoming a long-term clinical leader at the practice
Compensation
- 30% of collections
- No lab fees or supply fees deducted
- W-2 employment with full administrative and operational support
Why Taylor
Taylor pairs Austin-metro access with small-city character and affordability. Williamson County keeps growing, with investment from major employers like Samsung and the expanding Central Texas tech corridor, so patient demand is growing alongside the population.
