Performs entry-level administrative innovation project and conference support work to connect the agency with the future of transportation. Work involves performing a wide range of collaborative support work for innovation projects ranging from emerging technologies, artificial intelligence development, and engineering support. Responsibilities also include assistance with coordinating innovation training academies, website design, and community of practice forums. Employees at this level perform assignments following specific instructions and are subject to frequent review by the immediate supervisor.
Essential Duties:
Attend in-person and virtual meetings
Assists in maintaining confidential project information and records.
Assists in performing inventory of materials, supplies, and equipment.
Assists in processing routine documents.
Maintains files, records, and logs.
Makes copies and distributes as instructed.
Performs preliminary research on assignments and gathers pertinent data.
Performs routine word processing duties and conducts quality checks of documents created.
Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:Â
High School / Entry Summer in recommended high school plan
Other Conditions:
Must be at least 16 years of age, a student currently enrolled in high school or any institution of higher education to include a trade/vocational school.
Employees at least 18 years of age with valid driver's license may be assigned driving duties and may use power tools.
