Substation Engineer

• Develop design projects featuring sophisticated elements, applying industry standards and established procedures to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Research and conduct moderately complex engineering studies, using group expertise.
• Work collaboratively to establish comprehensive design criteria and standards, drawing upon diverse expertise and viewpoints to ensure robust, innovative solutions.
• Recognize, thoroughly investigate, and assess issues. Formulate effective solutions tailored to each problem.
• Propose innovative and enhanced practices and procedures to optimize performance and efficiency.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, engineering physics, biosystems engineering, mathematical science, or related science.
• Five or more years of post-bachelor's engineering experience relating to the area of engineering specialization required to perform the job, technical leadership in engineering, other relevant experience or a licensed professional engineer in a state other than the State of Texas.
• Driver's license

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience in substation research and development
• Experience in design or maintenance of transmission equipment
• Experience with 3D modeling programs
• Experience with relevant engineering codes
