Job DetailsJob Location: Avon, IN 46123Position Type: Part TimeJob Category: SportsBenefits Include: Free YMCA of Greater Indianapolis Membership 20 Hours Per Week of Free Child Care Flexible Hours/Scheduling Retirement Discounted Program Fees Professional Development Under the direction and supervision of the Program Director/Coordinator, the Program Instructor I will be primarily responsible for providing quality leadership and supervision, in sports and/or classes, while maintaining a safe, non-competitive environment for YMCA members.   Qualifications Experience instructing is preferred. A minimum of 16 years of age. Basic knowledge in sports skills and techniques is preferred. Ability to learn and successfully demonstrate necessary skills. Verbally provide clear concise directions and visually inspect classroom for safety Maintain current certifications in CPR AED, First Aid, Safety & Risk Management, Child Abuse Prevention, New Employee Orientation and other wellness department and designated Branch training, or the ability to obtain within 60-90 days of employment.
