Our client is a leading manufacturing company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Execute engineering activities required to fulfill customer orders.
- Develop and review designs to ensure compliance with engineering principles, company standards, industry codes and standards, customer requirements, and applicable technical specifications.
- Prepare and verify engineering calculations for both new and existing products.
- Provide production engineering support to manufacturing, assembly, and other relevant departments.
- Coordinate with the Quality team to investigate and resolve product-related and manufacturing-process issues.
- Develop, document, and implement production and engineering procedures.
- Ensure that designs and projects comply with applicable safety requirements and engineering principles.
- Coordinate with the global engineering team to ensure the consistent application of engineering standards across operations.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university, college, or technical institute.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the oilfield equipment industry.
- Proficiency in all four English skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and drafting using SolidWorks or comparable 3D design software.
- Experience in applying ANSI, ASME, and ISO drafting standards, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Strong capabilities in stress analysis and mechanical design.
- Thorough understanding of design documentation development, review, revision, and control.
- Ability to prepare clear technical reports, engineering calculations, procedures, and other related technical documents.
- Demonstrated ability to solve practical engineering problems by applying sound engineering judgment and technical reasoning.
