Design Engineer

• Execute engineering activities required to fulfill customer orders.
  
• Develop and review designs to ensure compliance with engineering principles, company standards, industry codes and standards, customer requirements, and applicable technical specifications.
  
• Prepare and verify engineering calculations for both new and existing products.
  
• Provide production engineering support to manufacturing, assembly, and other relevant departments.
  
• Coordinate with the Quality team to investigate and resolve product-related and manufacturing-process issues.
  
• Develop, document, and implement production and engineering procedures.
  
• Ensure that designs and projects comply with applicable safety requirements and engineering principles.
  
• Coordinate with the global engineering team to ensure the consistent application of engineering standards across operations.
  

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university, college, or technical institute.
  
• At least 3–5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the oilfield equipment industry.
  
• Proficiency in all four English skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
  
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and drafting using SolidWorks or comparable 3D design software.
  
• Experience in applying ANSI, ASME, and ISO drafting standards, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  
• Strong capabilities in stress analysis and mechanical design.
  
• Thorough understanding of design documentation development, review, revision, and control.
  
• Ability to prepare clear technical reports, engineering calculations, procedures, and other related technical documents.
  
• Demonstrated ability to solve practical engineering problems by applying sound engineering judgment and technical reasoning.
