Together, we’re shaping the future of food — one plate, one person, and One Fine Family at a time   Maintenance Mechanic III    Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor Pay Range: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour Experience Required: 5+ years in maintenance with leadership experience. Certifications: Advanced PLC certification, leadership training.     Maintenance Mechanic III is a senior-level role responsible for leading complex troubleshooting, overseeing major repairs and installations, and mentoring junior mechanics. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems. Mechanic III acts as a technical leader and may serve as a shift lead for the maintenance department.   Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair high-level mechanical, electrical, and control system issues Lead equipment rebuilds and major overhauls Perform diagnostics on PLC systems and recommend/control adjustments Assist with capital projects, equipment commissioning, and layout planning Maintain CMMS records and review performance metrics to drive improvements Mentor and train Mechanic I & II technicians; conduct hands-on demos and evaluations Review SOPs, participate in process improvement and lean initiatives Interface with vendors and OEM technicians during installations or warranty work Promote and model safe work practices; lead incident investigations if needed Participate in on-the-job training and technical coursework is required. Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Electrical (run wire, build controls, etc) CMMS training. Leadership training. Lean training. SOP training. Projects training. Electronic control board training. Other duties as assigned.   QualificationsRequired: Trade School or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in food, beverage, or similar setting Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC ladder logic Demonstrated leadership or team lead experience Familiarity with CMMS platforms and documentation Ability to work in varying temperature conditions. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Candidate must successfully pass post-offer/pre-employment drug test, and background screen. Preferred: Associates degree or certificate in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or similar Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs or HMI systems OSHA 30 or equivalent leadership safety training Spanish language skills (useful for training and communication)     Holly Poultry, Inc. and its subsidiaries are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
