Ideal candidates must have a strong work ethic and dedication to serving underserved populations through assisting Resident Services Coordinators in the implementation and coordination of resident services programs for residents of CHP’s multifamily properties. What We're Looking For: Resident Services establishes partnerships and linkages with other service providers to develop and implement program activities focusing on three content areas: Community Programs, Housing Stability, and Senior Services. Our staff works with our residents to increase their quality of life by assisting residents in reaching their individual goals and increasing their self-sufficiency skills. This is accomplished by conducting individual and/or community assessments to determine services needed and then providing and/or connecting residents with resources or services based on their needs. This position requires a collaborative and service-oriented approach, working closely with Resident Services Coordinators, CHP staff, supervisors, and leadership to establish and maintain strong cross-departmental relationships. A Day in the Life of: In this role, your day is a mix of planning, coordination, and direct program support. You may start by preparing and distributing monthly calendars, flyers, or newsletters to help promote upcoming programs and recruit participants. You will assist with delivering resident programs using established curricula, working directly with individuals and groups to support learning, engagement, and community connection. You’ll spend time documenting services accurately in departmental software, ensuring reports are complete and submitted on time. As needed, you’ll help coordinate program supplies, make approved purchases, and track expenses. Collaboration is key—daily work involves partnering with other CHP staff, supervisors, and leadership to support seamless service delivery across departments. You also play a role in maintaining a welcoming and professional community environment by helping keep offices, community rooms, centers, and CHP vehicles organized and clean. No two days are exactly the same, and you may take on additional tasks as assigned by Resident Service Leadership, all while using strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills to support residents and programs effectively.
