This position must meet all requirements of Horseshoe Baltimore Security but will be primarily posted in a Security vehicle patrolling the Parking garage and outdoor areas throughout an eight-hour shift. This position must:
Have a valid Maryland Driver鈥檚 license with good driving record and no prior suspensions of driving privileges, (MVR will be reviewed.)
Be a responsible and safe driver that is highly alert and safety conscious.
Be a responsible, independent worker that can spend their work hours in a vehicle or foot patrol by themselves.
Be excellent at de-escalation and safety awareness.
Be outside in hot, cold, or inclement weather conditions for long periods of time.
Have good communication and service skills in dealing with guests and other employees.
Enforces company security/safety regulations.
Guards transfer of money and chips from Change Booth to Main Cage.
Performs all security/safety related duties.
Represents company and its property to ensure all Casino regulations are adhered to at all times.
Consistently demonstrates superior customer service skills by displaying outlined service behaviors.
Maintains an upbeat and positive attitude, creates positive energy with gestures and sustains enthusiasm from one interaction to the next.
Creates an atmosphere of luck and celebrates guest鈥檚 wins.
Is ready to serve and is informed of daily information; builds relationships by greeting guests with a warm, friendly verbal greeting.
Anticipates needs and provides fast, flawless service.
Checks for satisfaction and effectively resolves service breakdowns when they exist.
Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age
路 Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift
路 Must present a well-groomed appearance
路 Must be able to work independently
路 Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time
路 Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions, when handling customer and employee conflicts
路 Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
路 Must possess the ability to interact in a professional manner with the general public
