Storage Facilities Coordinator

What's the role?

Help keep Secure Storage properties running smoothly from the office to the facility grounds. As a Storage Facilities Coordinator, you'll handle a variety of customer, account, and property needs while ensuring our storage locations stay organized and well maintained. Duties include: 

• Supporting day-to-day administrative operations across multiple Secure Storage properties 
• Assisting customers with accounts, payments, collections, and general questions
• Completing facility inspections, monitoring unit availability, and maintaining property documentation 
• Managing overlocks, lock cuts, and auction-related processes 
• Coordinating vehicle rentals, including Penske truck rentals
• Helping maintain facility grounds and common areas through landscaping, exterior upkeep, parking lot maintenance and snow removal

What experience and skills do I need to be successful?

• Experience with storage facilities, rental properties, or similar environment is highly desired
• Strong customer service and communication skills for general questions and account assistance 
• Ability to stay organized and accurate with paperwork, documentation, reporting, and account information 
• Comfortable completing property inspections and monitoring unit availability 
• Ability to support collections and auction-related processes
• Experience with or willingness to perform as-needed property upkeep 
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities across multiple properties

What's the schedule?

This is a fully onsite role with occasional travel to Secure Storage properties. A typical schedule follows standard Monday - Friday operating hours 9am - 5pm; with additional Saturday hours 9am - 1pm. This position can be filled in a part-time or full-time capacity. Flexibility around exact schedule will be based on the needs of the properties and company operations.
