Production Associate – Linen Processing

Location: 3 Apollo Drive, Batavia, NY 14020
Available Shifts: 6:00 AM–4:00 PM and 6:00 AM–6:00 PM

PURPOSE

To provide quality linen products and services to healthcare facilities in a timely, safe, and professional manner.

JOB SUMMARY

This is a fast-paced manufacturing job that requires standing throughout your shift. Employees feed, sort, check, and fold linens using industrial laundry equipment. Employees must follow safety rules and meet daily production goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Arrive on time and maintain good attendance.
Meet daily production and quality goals.
Feed, sort, inspect, and process linens using industrial equipment.
Check linens for stains, tears, holes, and wear.
Follow all safety rules and company procedures.
Work well with others as part of a team.
Follow instructions from team leads and supervisors.
Keep your work area clean and safe.
Be willing to work additional hours when needed, following applicable policies and agreements.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Learn and work in other production areas as needed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Stand and work on your feet for 10–12 hour shifts, with applicable breaks.
Push and pull wheeled linen carts weighing up to 800 pounds.
Lift up to 40 pounds.
Bend, twist, reach, and perform repeated movements throughout the shift.
Use basic computers and printers when needed.
Follow directions and work well with others.
Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
