Associate Director –Pre-Employment Transition Services
New Horizons is looking for an Associate Director to oversee the employees in the schools in 16 counties that New Horizons serves.  The Associate Director will work with the Director and Managers to ensure the program is meeting compliance and regulatory requirements.  The Associate Director will also  help train staff to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach their individual goals by teaching skills in a nurturing environment so they can have full access to their community. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing personal assistance in Workplace Readiness, Self-Advocacy, Job Exploration, Counseling of Post-Secondary Education, and Work-Based learning in community employment settings. The ability to lead, engage, and support our team to have better employment outcomes. Experiences working with individuals with disabilities is helpful, but not required.Â
The Associate Director will have good communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, and able to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.

Job Qualifications
- Eighteen (18) Years of Age or older
- High School Diploma or GED required – some college preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
- One-year supervisory experience preferred
