The role is the single point of coordination across the full RHTP portfolio, including RISE AR, HEART, THRIVE, PACT and future award cycles. It covers direct awards from the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration (DFA), partner awards, and subawards to partners such as the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville (UACCB).

The Project Manager works closely with project teams, Finance, Accounting, the WRH Foundation and state program staff. The goal is lasting improvement in access, quality and workforce for the communities WRH serves.

  • Track progress across the full portfolio and flag risks, delays and dependencies early.
  • Coordinate work across WRH hospitals, clinics, departments and external partners.

Meetings and communication

  • Schedule and run project team meetings; prepare agendas, minutes and follow-up action lists.
  • Prepare status reports and dashboards for the RHTP Coordinator, executive sponsor and leadership.
  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for state RHTP program staff and partner organizations.

Grant compliance and reporting

  • Ensure each project follows award terms and federal grant rules, including the Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200).
  • Prepare and submit required progress, performance and outcome reports on time.

  • Monitor subrecipients, including subaward agreements, deliverables, invoices and required reports.

Budget and drawdown support

  • Track spending against approved budgets with Finance and Accounting.
  • Support timely drawdown and reimbursement requests with accurate supporting documentation.
  • Identify budget variances and help prepare budget modification requests when needed.

Performance measurement

  • Define, collect and report project measures and outcomes required by each award.
  • Work with the Quality department and data owners to validate data before it is reported.

Future funding

  • Support applications for new RHTP cycles and related funding opportunities.
  • Capture lessons learned and sustainability plans so successful work continues after funding ends.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in healthcare administration (MHA), public health (MPH) or business administration (MBA).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification.
