Job Details: Level: Entry, Job Location: Baton Rouge - BATON ROUGE, LA, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $20.00 - $24.00Hourly, Job Shift: Day Shift, Summary of PositionThe Enterprise Billing Specialist supports billing operations by ensuring customer invoices are processed accurately, completely, and on time. This position manages high-volume billing, reviews job information, generates invoices, resolves discrepancies, works in multiple software systems, and consistently meets billing deadlines. The role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.TrainingTraining on billing procedures, accounting systems, customer invoicing requirements, internal software platforms, customer contracts, pricing structures, reporting, and month-end processes.Responsibilities• Process and generate a high volume of customer invoices accurately and timely.• Meet daily, weekly, monthly, and month-end billing deadlines.• Work efficiently within multiple software systems.• Verify pricing, quantities, freight, taxes, and billing details.• Research and resolve billing discrepancies.• Process payments, adjustments, credits, and rebills.• Maintain customer billing records and documentation.• Assist with month-end closing and reporting.• Support collections by providing invoice documentation.• Communicate with Sales, Customer Service, Production, and accounting departments.Qualifications: Qualifications / Skills• Highly organized and detail-oriented.• Ability to manage high-volume workloads.• Strong time management and deadline management skills.• Experience working in multiple systems simultaneously.• High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.• Excellent communication skills.• Billing, Accounts Receivable, or Accounting experience preferred.
