RETAIL PHARMACY CASHIER

Job Details: Job Location: Surgical Specialty Center of Baton Rouge - Baton Rouge, LA, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: High School, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Administrative Support, This is a full time position. Hours for position 8:30am - 5pm, Monday through Friday.  Will flex to volume.  Previous cashier or pharmacy experience highly preferred.  Provides exceptional customer service to customers, patients and family members Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information Operates and balances a cash register and ensures accurate payment collection Stocks, restocks over the counter inventory Assists in answering the telephone Performs other general duties necessary for daily operationsQualifications: Education:  High school diploma or GED preferredExperience:  At least 1 year cashier or pharmacy experience highly preferred
