Safety Administrator

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Participate in safety meetings and propose improvements if necessary
• Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions
• Plan and manage safety documents and new information
• Site walks for safety oversight.
• Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures

Education/Qualification: 

• OSHA 30 required.
• OSHA 10 with a willingness to complete OSHA 30 also accepted.
• One to two years of related safety experience preferred
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Capable of maintaining strong relationships
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Team-management and leadership skills
• Documentation management and ability to use project management tools
• Attention to details even under pressure
• Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

Other Duties:

• Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Periods of walking job sites and overseeing safety.
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
