Role Objective:

To perform and support aircraft maintenance activities underthe direction and supervision of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, includingaircraft servicing, inspections, troubleshooting, defect rectification,component replacement, and other approved maintenance tasks. Ensure allmaintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently in accordancewith approved maintenance data, company procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements,contributing to the continued airworthiness, operational reliability, andtimely turnaround of the aircraft.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Carry out aircraft maintenance, servicing, inspection, andrelated activities in accordance with approved maintenance data, companyprocedures, and instructions from the Licensed Aircraft Engineer.

 

Assist Licensed Aircraft Engineers with aircraft arrival anddeparture inspections, transit checks, walk-around inspections, defecttroubleshooting, rectification, and other approved maintenance activities.

Operate and utilize specialized aircraft maintenanceequipment, test equipment, ground support equipment, and tooling effectivelyand safely, as required for inspection, testing, servicing, componentreplacement, and maintenance activities.

Ensure all tools, equipment, and ground support equipmentare operated correctly and safely, and maintained in good working andserviceable condition.

Maintain proper control and accountability of all tools andequipment used during maintenance activities, ensuring they are serviceable,properly calibrated where applicable, and within the required inspection andcertification validity.

 Immediately report any safety hazard, maintenanceerror, incident, accident, aircraft damage, or other reportable occurrence tothe responsible Licensed Aircraft Engineer or supervisor, and complete therequired occurrence or incident reports.

Ensure adequate pre-work preparation is completed, includingthe availability of required tools, equipment, materials, and maintenancedocumentation, to support safe and efficient work execution.

Comply with all applicable Airport Authority rules, companyprocedures, policies, regulations, and operational requirements.

Record all maintenance delays, incidents, accidents, andother relevant occurrences on the prescribed forms and submit them to theEngineer – Aircraft Line Maintenance for appropriate action.

 

Attend and successfully complete all required recurrent,continuation, competency, safety, and technical training in accordance withcompany requirements and applicable regulatory standards.

Assist in maintaining the cleanliness, security, safety, andserviceability of aircraft maintenance areas, workshops, equipment, tools, andmaintenance vehicles.

Ensure full compliance with Airport Authority requirements,company procedures and regulations, and Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)policies to maintain a safe working environment throughout the assigned shift.

Perform any other maintenance-related duties andresponsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor or management, within thescope of the position, applicable procedures, and regulatory requirements.



Requirements

Education & Experience:

Diploma in AeronauticalEngineering or completion of basic training Part-147.

 2 years apprenticeship inairline engineering base or line maintenance area.
