Role Objective:
Organize, Plan and Coordinate resources in aircraftmaintenance to ensure proper and timely servicing and repairing at shortturnaround.
Perform inspection and certify maintenance work carried-outby himself and by non-certifying staff allocated under his control on Company’sor customers’ aircraft and airborne equipment to the standards required by theAirworthiness Authority and the Company.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Organize plan and co-ordinate resources in the aircraftmaintenance to ensure proper and timely repair
Perform inspection and certify maintenance work carried outby him and by non-certifying staff allocated under him on Company’s orcustomer’s aircraft and airborne equipment to the standards required by theAirworthiness Authority and the Company.
Supervision of staff under his control to ensure that theCompany’s Rules and Regulations and standards are adhered to and maintained.
Ensure that all tooling and equipment provided isserviceable and calibrated and are operated to the Company’s standards andreport any unserviceability, to ensure corrective action is taken.
Ensure that all incident and accident occurrences arerecorded and reported to the Manager Quality Assurance and Manager AircraftLine Maintenance.
Approve requisitions for spare parts and materials requiredfor servicing and maintenance of company fleet.
Inspection of work performed for Salam Air to ensure thatairworthiness authority requirement, rules, regulations, procedures anddirectives are complied.
Liaise with Quality Assurance team on all matters related toairworthiness maintenance / service difficulties.
Ensure that all work areas allocated, including aircraftHangar are maintained in a safe and good housekeeping order.
Report to the Manager Line Maintenance in respect of allAirworthiness matters connected with the ‘Terms of Approval’ as describedin the Company exposition.
Ensure that all manuals and publications used are up todate, treated with care and returned to their storage location.
Coordinate and support the Manager – Line Maintenance inhaving an effective defect follow up with CAME, proper troubleshooting andtimely rectification of ADD/MDD, Hold item are cleared in the stipulated time.
Ensure that all staff working in the shift adheres to theHSE policies of the company and comply with regulatory authority requirements.
Assist in ensuring proper work documents are raised,controlled and cleared up in accordance with approved procedures and methodsprior to releasing aircraft for service.
Supervision of all staff under him to ensure that thecompany’s rules, regulations and standards and adhered to and maintained
Carry out any other Aircraft maintenance task as and whendirected by Line Maintenance Manager.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
3-year diploma in Aeronautical Engineering (Graduate shallbe an advantage)
Ab-initio courses for Aircraft Engineer.
ICAO Type II Basic License
5 years in aircraft maintenance workshop as certifiedengineer
Level 2 NDT qualification in all methods.
