Requirements

 Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and residents' specific nutritional needs

- Plan menus that are balanced, appealing, and meet regulatory standards

- Ensure all food is stored, handled, and prepared in a safe and sanitary manner

- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and food preparation areas

- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed

- Collaborate with dietary staff and healthcare professionals to accommodate special diets

- Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with health regulations

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting

- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and nutritional requirements for elderly residents

- Ability to follow recipes and food safety standards

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Food handler’s certification or equivalent (as required by local regulations)

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
