Ahuja Operating Room is looking for a Cardiac Surg Tech interested in joining our team!

What We Offer:

$5k sign-on bonus for external candidates with 1+ years of experience and a $2,500 sign-on bonus for new grad techs.

Essential Functions

Provide safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using nursing interventions in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.
Provide patient care/function in a primary scrub position.
Assist with technical responsibilities in assigned operative procedures.
Assure appropriate instruments/supplies are present and in proper working condition.
Provide labeled medications with correct doses on the sterile field.
Perform other duties which support the operative team, includes following patient care hand off protocol.
Actively participate in the quality improvement process.
Involved in learning and self-improvement.

Qualifications

Education

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Thorough knowledge of asepsis, instrumentation, suture and surgical procedures. Required
Use a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient care needs and prescribed medical therapies. Required
